Spread holiday cheer with a Holidays on the River voyage. Embark on a sailing where the spirit of the holiday season rings through every street corner and bend of the river. Enjoy streaming hot chocolate and delicious gingerbread cookies while basking in the glow of the string lights. Guests looking to explore quaint river towns transformed into winter wonderlands can do so on our flagship, American Queen®. There’s no better way to do the holidays than on an authentic paddle-wheeler.

Create New Traditions While Celebrating Old Ones

Let your tastebuds come alive with the savory flavors of chicken, oyster gumbo, and soufflés at Culinary Ambassador Regina Charboneau’s traditional Creole Réveillon Dinner. Back in the 1800s, the Creole people, who were among the earliest inhabitants of New Orleans, would go to midnight mass and then return home for a family feast. The term Réveillon is the French word for awakening, and this family feast was their way of breaking their fast.

The fun doesn’t stop there, though! Chef Regina Charboneau will also be hosting cooking demonstrations onboard. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the holiday culinary adventure of a lifetime!
