American Queen Voyages Partners with Battle Creek Cellars

Guests on the November 6, 2022, American Empress sailing are in for a treat. American Queen Voyages is partnering with Battle Creek Cellars to host a pre-cruise event at their Pearl District Tasting Room. Located in the trendy Pearl District neighborhood, oenophiles can expect rugged elegance as they sip on a hand-crafted portfolio of wine chosen by expert winemaker Sarah Cabot. The broad portfolio is not only the perfect representation of Oregon but also comes from the Willamette Valley.

Willamette Valley is home to a few vineyards, including Battle Creek Vineyard, established in 1998 in Turner, Oregon. The vineyard is located on a south-facing slope of Salem, Oregon, and is known for growing Pinot Noir on 110 acres. The valley also includes Yamhela Vineyard. Established in 2007, this vineyard grows premium wine grapes with rich flavors and a medium build that transforms into Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Last but certainly not least, Roe Vineyard. Roe Vineyard was established in Newberg, Oregon, in 2008 and produces Pinot Noir grapes with a deep black fruit flavor.
