During most of our voyages, the itinerary includes days where you’ll just be sailing. With no tours and no port calls, it is a great day to spend doing other things on the ship. Here are some ideas for a perfect and relaxing day at sea:
#1- A Little Self-Care
At Victory I and Victory II we have a spa onboard. Our amazing therapist provides the best massages. We also offer manicures, pedicures, and hair services onboard as well. A day at sea is the perfect excuse to pamper yourself.
#2- Drink and Talk
Our lounge and bar are always open, in case you want to have a drink in the middle of the day. Sit, drink a few cocktails, and chat with fellow passengers.
#3- Read
Take a few books with you on the cruise. A day off from activities outside is the perfect excuse to dive into a story. You can read at the lounge, your stateroom, the tavern, or outside with the beautiful scenery as a peaceful background.
#4- Taking Pictures of the Scenery
Nowadays, cell phones take great pictures, so grab your cell phone and get ready for the great views you’ll witness throughout the day. If the ship is passing through the locks, this will be an experience that you’ll want to document. The locks are a short confined section of a canal in which the water level can be changed by the use of gates, used for raising and lowering vessels between two gates. It is a very interesting experience to watch as the ship goes through them.
#5- Complete a Puzzle
This is one of our guests’ favorite activities! The good news is that we have plenty of puzzles onboard.
